Leeds boss Dennis Wise has rejected reports linking Richard Cresswell with a move away from Elland Road.
Reports have suggested Sheffield United are looking at trying to sign Cresswell when the transfer window reopens in January.
Wise has slammed the suggestions as Cresswell is currently recovering from a knee injury.
"How can you sell someone who has had a look into his knee?" Wise said. "The speculation gets on your nerves, but you have to get on with it.
"There have also been certain players linked with the club whom I never had any intention of bringing in.
"I would rather talk about the players who are here, rather than the ones other people think we are bringing in."
