Lawrie Sanchez feels David Healy has the quality to be a success in The Premiership.
The Leeds United striker was once again the toast of Belfast, as his fourth goal of the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign lifted Northern Ireland to a 1-0 win over Latvia.
Healy is currently plying his trade in The Championship with Leeds, but Sanchez is confident the striker could strut his stuff at the highest level.
"He is a world-class finisher and anybody who doubts that only has to come and watch some of our games," Sanchez told Sky Sports News.
"He has the quality to play in The Premiership. Hopefully he can do that with Leeds, they are a big enough club and they will give him the platform.
"If he is given the platform, he will score goals."
Northern Ireland are in third place in Group F with seven points and Sanchez believes his players have the quality to qualify.
"It is about players and their determination and what they want to achieve," he stated.
"This group of players has shown amazing resilience, self belief and determination and a winning mentality."
