Neil Sullivan has urged his Leeds United team-mates to become part of the club's folklore by claiming promotion to The Premiership.

Leeds' decline in recent season has been arrested by Kevin Blackwell, with the club in with a shout of getting out of The Championship.

The Whites are currently 11 points off an automatic promotion spot, but have a game in hand on second placed Sheffield United.

Veteran goalkeeper Sullivan believes it would be a fantastic achievement if Leeds can clinch a return to the top flight.

Sullivan also admits it would be a career highlight, if he was to play his part in helping the Elland Road side back into The Premiership.

"A year ago we were just two days away from total meltdown at this club," said Sullivan.

"So I think in a few years people will look back on this era at the club and realise we did really well.

"The players realise that we have the chance to be heroes with what could happen this season and we want to win promotion.

"The Premiership is the place to be and to get there with this club would be the highlight of my career."
