Leeds are set to sign Nottingham Forest striker Marlon King on loan.

Elland Road boss Kevin Blackwell is keen to bolster his attack having been unable to put a striker on the bench for last week's win over West Ham.

Brian Deane and Julian Joachim's are still sidelined with injuries, leaving Blackwell short of options and he has moved to agree a deal to take King on loan for the rest of the season.

King has dropped down the pecking order at Forest and City Ground chief Gary Megson is willing to loan him out.

Leeds are only allowed to make one more loan signing and it appears King will be their last foray into the transfer market.
