Without a doubt a miss. Despite his odious off-field antics, Jody Morris's reputation on the field at Chelsea seemed to indicate that Peter Reid may have made a shrewd signing. Like pre-2002 Lee Bowyer, his battling performances for Chelsea won many over who would otherwise judge him for his loutish shenanigans. But the best one can say about Jody Morris in a Leeds shirt is that he does not suck as much as Jose Vitor Roque Junior. Like Paul Okon last year, Mr Morris's great crime is that he is anonymous, not contributing much to each game while not dropping large clangers either. Leeds's midfield looks much better without him, and despite an alarming lack of depth in midfield, I would not anticipate him being deployed in Leeds's battle against relegation. Without a doubt he would have fit in better at Cardiff, and perhaps he will sooner than later, for it seems he does not have the heart to grab a bucket and save the Premiership's biggest sinking ship.
Who? Try a miss by a martian mile!
Definitely a miss. something seems to have gone wrong for him and he now lacks the tenacity and fighting spirit that saw him become a Chelsea regular. It's obviously an ongoing thing as Claudio Ranieri had the foresight not to offer him a new contract. Maybe his off-field antics had something to do with it. It's a shame really as he was at one point and exciting player to watch and was destined for an England berth.
