Bastia's quest for defensive reinforcements continues to centre on cash-strapped Leeds United, with unwanted Zoumana Camara now a target.

Having added Leeds' on-loan left back Didier Domi to their shopping list, Bastia are now eyeing up a move for Camara.

Both players are on season-long loan deals at Elland Road but have been deemed surplus to requirements by The Premiership's bottom club.

But Domi and Camara have refused to sign contracts releasing them from the club, meaning Leeds must seek alternative ways of offloading the defensive duo.

Camara is perceived by Bastia to be an ideal candidate to replace Nisa Saveljic, who signed for Guingamp earlier this month.

With a move for Argentine stopper Marcelo Kobistyc failing to bear fruit, Bastia have now turned to France international Camara.

The 24-year-old is on loan at Leeds from Lens and Bastia are expected to try to reach an agreement to take over Camara's loan for the remainder of the campaign.
