Lucic is set to return to AIK at the end of the season after Leeds rejected the chance to sign him permanently.
The Swedish international has been on loan at Elland Road, but the Yorkshire outfit have declined to make his move permanent.
AIK are willing to sell Lucic to bring in some much-needed funds and an unnamed French club are thought to be leading the chase for his signature.
"We are looking at different alternatives for Teddy. We are interested to earn some money through a transfer of him, in that case, we would also save some money on his salary." AIK sports director Peter Kisfaludy told Sportbladet.
The player's agent Anders Carlsson revealed that several clubs are monitoring his situation.
"There are several clubs who are interested in Teddy," said Carlsson.
