Leeds United are thought to be keen on signing the Corinthians midfielder, who helped Brazil claim their fifth World Cup in the Far East in the summer.
The 26-year-old revealed that his that his agent, Rubens Pozzi, and Corinthians financial manager Carlos Roberto de Mello were in England negotiating with a mystery Premiership club.
Ricardinho refused to reveal the identity of the interested club, but is hopeful that his future may look clearer by Monday.
"Up until now, nothing has happened and I'm waiting for news just like you," Ricardinho said at a press conference in Rio de Janeiro.
"I really hate this situation, I hope to have an end for this on Monday."
New Leeds boss Terry Venables is keen to bolster his squad and should he move for Ricardinho he would be a valuable addition at Elland Road.
