The Irish born 20-year-old has reportedly been watched by Leeds three times in the last few weeks and it is believed that they could make a move before the transfer deadline next Thursday.
"Hs is a similar style to Matt Elliott at Leicester City," said a Luton source. "He is equally adept in attack or at the back."
Standing tall at just over six feet tall, he was Luton`s player of the year in 1997-98 and is rated at around £1 million.
