Hull City striker Yannick Sagbo has joined Wolves on loan.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Tigers from French club Evian last summer and scored four times in his first season, including a Wembley strike in the FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.
But he has fallen down the pecking order at the KC Stadium and the presence of Abel Hernandez, Nikica Jelavic and Sone Aluko, as well as on-loan attacking midfielders Gaston Ramirez and Hatem Ben Arfa, has meant Sagbo is yet to appear in the Premier League this term.
With Hull out of both the Europa League and the Capital One Cup, manager Steve Bruce has been looking to loan out some of his fringe players and has agreed to send Sagbo to Molineux until January.
A short Hull statement read: "Yannick Sagbo has joined Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan until January.
"The 26-year-old heads to Wolves looking for regular first team football and joins with the Molineux side currently riding high following promotion from League One last term."
Sagbo is in line to make his debut in Wednesday's visit of Huddersfield and knows he is in for a challenge.
He said: "I have watched a lot of games in the Championship and everyone says it's a good league and a strong league.
"I am looking forward to being involved in it.
"It is difficult and there are some strong defenders but I am confident I can score some goals.
"It is a good time for me to come to the club and an exciting time - I am happy to be here and can't wait to get started."
Sagbo has scored four goals in his last 35 games after joining Hull from Evain in 2013 and believes he has a good opportunity at Wolves to hit some form.
"I know Wolves are a big club in England and I know Bakary Sako so I spoke to him about it," he told the club's official site.
"He told me the coach is a good guy as well and I am happy to be here.
"This is a good move for me and I am looking forward to enjoying my loan.
"Hopefully I will play a lot of games and score a lot of goals.
"And it is up to me to make it good for the team as well."
