Hull City have confirmed the signing of Swiss goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic on a free transfer.
As revealed by Sky Sports earlier on Monday, Hull had won the race to sign Jakupovic ahead of Championship rivals Ipswich.
The 27-year-old has been a long-term transfer target for Hull, but it seemed their interest had cooled following the departure of Nicky Barmby as boss.
However, new Tigers manager Steve Bruce has pushed through a deal for Jakupovic after learning of Ipswich's interest in the keeper.
Jakupovic has signed a two-year deal at the KC Stadium and becomes Bruce's first signing of the summer.
