Hull City are refusing to comment on reports that Nick Barmby has been suspended by the club.
Barmby, who took charge of City last November following Nigel Pearson's departure to Leicester, is reported to have been suspended for comments he made in the media.
The former England international admitted earlier on Monday that the club were heading into a 'massive week' as he prepared to discuss the club's future with owner Assem Allam.
The 38-year-old was unable to guide City into the play-offs with the Tigers finishing in eighth spot and five points outside the top six.
Barmby won 13 of his 33 games in charge this season, losing 12 and drawing the other eight.
In a statement, Assem and Ehab Allam said: "We are aware of the press speculation and we are not in a position to make any comment."
