McLean set for MRI scan

Peterborough's Aaron McLean will undergo a precautionary MRI scan on Thursday to determine the extent of his injury.

McLean was on target in Tuesday night's 4-1 Carling Cup win over Rotherham, but then suffered an injury to his lower right leg which resulted in him being stretchered off and taken to hospital. The club are hopeful the forward has avoided any serious damage but must now wait for the results of Thursday's scan.
