Hull midfielder targets victory at Stoke

Jimmy Bullard is looking to pick up another three points at Stoke after Hull City beat Fulham on Saturday. The Tigers claimed their first win under Iain Dowie to boost their chances of avoiding relegation and Bullard is now looking to push on. The midfielder is confident that Hull can go to the Britannia Stadium and end their dismal run of form away from the KC Stadium. Hull have failed to notch a single Premier League victory on the road this season but Bullard knows they cannot just rely on home form to ensure safety. "Stoke will be a big game for us, but then every game from now is a big one," he told the club's official website. "But why can't we beat Stoke away? We'll see where this win takes us."

No pressure

The midfielder opened the scoring from the penalty spot against Fulham - his second successful spot-kick in three games. "I don't really feel any pressure at penalties," he said. "I enjoy doing it. "I've got the chance to score for my club, so why wouldn't I enjoy it? You hope you score and on Saturday I did." The 31-year-old also paid tribute to defender Ibrahima Sonko, who was making his first appearance in more than five months. He added: "We dug in well and I thought 'Sonks' was great. To come back in and produce a solid performance like that was fantastic and I was pleased for him."
