Rochdale manager Keith Hill has clinched the signature of Will Atkinson on a one-month loan from Hull City.
Hill has been looking to bolster his options before the loan window closes and has swooped for the Tigers midfielder.
The 21-year-old has been with the Tigers since the summer of 2007 and has had previous spells on loan at Port Vale and Mansfield.
Atkinson will come into contention to make his debut for Rochdale in this weekend's trip to League Two rivals Dagenham.
