Hull City duo Kevin Ellison and Robbie Stockdale have joined League One Tranmere Rovers, both on two-year deals.
Liverpool-born Ellison had been the subject of much transfer speculation after former boss Peter Taylor accepted a £100,000 bid from Scunthorpe United.
But the 27-year-old has now opted for a return to the North West for an undisclosed fee.
"Kevin had the opportunity to go to Bristol City and Scunthorpe, but he's a local boy who wants to play at Prenton Park and it says a lot for Tranmere Rovers that we were able to pull him in," Moore commented.
"I'm looking forward to working with Kevin and he will be a great asset to the side. He will give his all and hopefully steer us in the right direction."
Former Middlesbrough right back Stockdale spent time under Moore at Rotherham United in the 2004/05 season and rejoins the boss after a season-and-a-half at The KC Stadium.
Meanwhile, defender Michael Jackson, goalkeeper Steve Wilson and winger Sam Aiston have all been released by Tranmere.
32-year-old Jackson made 96 appearances at the club, while last summer's signing Wilson made 12 League One appearances for the club, and Aiston played 22 matches, scoring three goals during the same period.
