Hull kept their League One title hopes alive with a 2-0 win at Yorkshire rivals Bradford.

Goals in each half from Stuart Elliott and Nick Barmby were enough to give Peter Taylor's men all three points.

Hull got off to a flying start when Northern Ireland international Elliott fired them in front after just four minutes.

Bradford poured forward in search of an equaliser, but could not find a way past a resolute Hull defence.

The visitors doubled their lead on 68 minutes when former England international Barmby netted his ninth goal of the season.

The win leaves Hull three points behind leaders Luton and edges them closer to securing promotion.
