Hull City have allowed defender Richard Hinds join Scunthorpe United on loan.Hull City have performed an about-turn by allowing defender Richard Hinds to join Scunthorpe United on loan.
The news comes after Tigers boss Peter Taylor recently turned down an approach for the 24-year-old from Iron counterpart Brian Laws.
Hinds is expected to complete his one-month loan move to Glanford Park on Thursday, with Taylor having decided to grant the defender's wish to play more first team football with the League Two high-flyers.
"I'm taking a bit of chance by letting Richard go out, but he wants to play first team football and going to Scunthorpe should give him that opportunity," Taylor told the club's official website.
"We've agreed that it'll only be a month to start with and it will also benefit Scunthorpe, as Richard is a good player who can play in two or three positions."
Meanwhile, The Iron have offered professional contracts to youngsters Marcus Williams and Andy Brown.
Williams has featured regularly in Laws's first team squad in recent weeks and has been offered a long-term deal.
Striker Brown will be offered a six-month contract after impressing for the club's youth and reserve sides.
