Hull seal Wilbraham move

Hull City have completed the signing of Stockport County striker Aaron Wilbraham.

The 23-year-old has penned a two-year deal at The KC Stadium after the two clubs agreed a £100,000 fee.

"To be honest it all came as a surprise and the first I knew about it was when Sammy McIlroy told me on Tuesday morning that Hull had been in touch," he told Hull's website.

"At that stage he said he didn't want me to leave and that he'd told Peter Taylor that I wasn't available.

"But then Hull came back with a concrete bid and the next thing I knew my agent was on the phone.

"It is a new challenge for me because I've been at Stockport for eight years and they've been my only club."
