Division Three round-up

Oxford moved back to the top of the table with a win over Southend as Doncaster lost to fellow promotion hopefuls Hull.

Jason Price was the hero for Peter Taylor's side as he grabbed a hat-trick with goals on 3, 66 and 77. Doncaster's only reply came from Leo Fortune-West on 39 minutes.

Mark Rawle scored Oxford's winner on 68 minutes at Roots Hall as they gained a 1-0 win to go to the top.

There was late drama at the Vetch Field as Swansea grabbed all three points thanks to Lee Trundle's last minute winner.

Yeovil had twice fought back to level matters as Gavin Williams (73) and Kevin Gall (89) equalised Trundle's penalty on 29 and Karl Connolly's strike twelve minutes after half-time.

Huddersfield picked up a win at the expense of Bury who did not help themselves as Danny Swailes put through his own net on 31 minutes for the only goal of the contest.

Macclesfield grabbed a point at home to Mansfield with a last-gasp equaliser from Matthew Tipton after Isyeden Christie had given the Stags the lead on 71.

Lincoln twice let the lead slip at home to Cambridge and had to settle for a draw at Sincil Bank.

Gary Fletcher put The Imps on top twice with goals on 9 and 41 but Luke Guttridge (14) and Daniel Webb (88) made it 2-2 at the final whistle.

York recovered from their Boxing Day defeat to Hull to pick up a 2-1 win away at Rochdale.

Lee Nogan notched both goals for the Minstermen on 28 and 76 with Dale scoring through a penalty from Kevin Townson four minutes after half-time.

Boston also won on their travels as Peter Duffield's goal on 12 minutes proved good enough to beat Scunthorpe.

Kidderminster won 1-0 at home to Bristol Rovers through a Dean Bennett goal on 47 minutes.

Richard Walker's tenth minute strike gave Northampton the victory at home to Cheltenham while Leyton Orient and Torquay fought out a 0-0 draw at Brisbane Road.

At the bottom end of the table, Carlisle missed the chance to close the gap on nearest rivals Darlington as the two sides fought out a 1-1 draw.

Brendan McGill scored for the second successive game after ten minutes but Lee Matthews equalised five minutes before the interval.
