Hull City manager Peter Taylor looks set to bring in reinforcements, with Brighton goalkeeper Michel Kuipers top of his list.

The KC Stadium boss has confirmed his interest in the big Dutchman who enjoyed a three-game loan spell at Hull earlier in the season.

Hull currently sit top of Division Three and Taylor said he is keen to bolster his squad to maintain their promotion push.

"When Mark McGhee was appointed at Brighton I phoned him and wished him good luck," Taylor told the Mail.

"As part of the conversation, I mentioned that Michel had been with us on loan and that if there was any change in the situation at Brighton, I might be interested.

"Mark did contact me again last week and we discussed things but that's as far as it's gone.

"Michel is a player I am interested in but Brighton know I am not paying silly money for him."

Taylor also added that a goalkeeper may not be the only position he tries to strengthen.

"I spoke to the chairman and I identified one or two key areas that I would like to strengthen."
