HULL CITY defender Ian Goodison will miss Jamaica's World Cup qualifier against Honduras on Wednesday after being involved in a road accident.

The 28-year-old defender was riding a motorbike down Olympic Way in Kingston with a pillion rider, when they rode into the side of a car.

Goodison suffered leg injuries in the incident, but his sister confirmed the injuries were minor.

"He is doing alright now," she said. "He was in a lot of pain last night but he has been trying to get a lot of rest since then."

Goodison's international team-mate Steve Malcolm died in a car crash following an international friendly with Bulgaria back in January, which left Hull colleague Theo Whitmore hospitalised.
