Rochdale have signed forward Reuben Noble-Lazarus from League One rivals Barnsley on an emergency loan deal until January.

The 21-year-old has made 49 appearances for the Tykes and scored three goals. Still regarded as a future prospect by Barnsley, Noble-Lazarus signed a new two-year deal back in February, keeping him at Oakwell until the summer of 2015. Noble-Lazarus enjoyed a four-game loan stint at Scunthorpe last season and remains the youngest-ever player to make his Football League debut aged just 15 years and 45 days.
