Free agent looking for new club after leaving Portsmouth

Sky Sports understands Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson is ready to pounce for free agent Kelvin Etuhu. Etuhu, 23, joined Portsmouth in January on short-term deal until the end of the season, but Pompey's financial woes mean they are unable to offer him fresh terms. The former Manchester City man made 13 appearances for Michael Appleton's side last term, but his trickery and pace down the flanks was not enough to prevent them from being relegated. Parkinson, however, was impressed with Etuhu's displays on the South Coast and has sounded him out about bringing his qualities to Valley Parade. Etuhu was given an eight-month prison sentence in March 2011 for assault, which prompted Manchester City to cancel his contract.
