Coventry defender admits he is settled at the Ricoh Arena

Coventry City defender Martin Cranie is happy to wait until the end of the season before holding talks regarding his future. Cranie has made over 100 appearances for the Sky Blues since joining from Portsmouth in 2009, but is out of contract in the summer. However, with Coventry battling to stay in the Championship, the 25-year-old is prepared to put any contract discussions on hold for the next few weeks. "I'm still waiting at the moment," said Cranie in the Coventry Evening Telegraph. "I think we're waiting to see what we're doing whether we'll be in the Championship or League One and then we'll sit down and have a chat at the end of the season. "If we are still in this league it will obviously have a major bearing on my decision. "I am settled here in the area and I love the club wherever I play in the side. "It is not a case that I'm unhappy or anything so hopefully I can sort something out."
