New Barnsley signing Stephen Dawson believes the Tykes' management duo can help take his career to the next level.
Barnsley boss Keith Hill and his number two David Flitcroft were in the dug-out at Rochdale when Dawson was playing for neighbours Bury.
The Irish midfielder then joined Leyton Orient in the summer of 2010 and after proving himself in League One, Hill made a move for Dawson last month.
The 26-year-old jumped at the chance to test himself in the Championship and is confident he will continue his development after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal at Oakwell.

Challenge
"It's a great club to be at and I believe it's on the up. Everything's done right, on and off the pitch. It's a challenge I can't wait to get stuck into.
"I know coming here will make me a better person, on and off the pitch."
Hill and Flitcroft arrived at Barnsley last June and have kept the Tykes secure in mid-table this season.
Dawson, meanwhile, was Orient skipper and led their recovery from a woeful start in League One.
He is currently recovering from an ankle injury which has kept him out since early January but once fit, he aims to make his presence felt in the Barnsley engine room.
"I've known Keith and Flickers for the last couple of years," Dawson added.
Non-stop energy
"They know what I'm about and what I will do. I'd like to bring non-stop energy to the team, up and down the pitch for 90 minutes. I never give up, that's the way I always play.
"I've been out the last month, which hasn't been ideal. Hopefully come Saturday week I'll be back."
