Sky Sports understands Leyton Orient captain Stephen Dawson has agreed his move to Barnsley.
Barnsley agreed an undisclosed fee with Dawson earlier on deadline day after seeing their initial offer for the 26-year-old turned down earlier this month.
Orient have reluctantly agreed to sell Dawson with the player out of contract in the summer and the player not agreeing a new deal at Brisbane Road.
Dawson has now agreed personal terms and passed a medical at Oakwell.
The Irishman, who joined Orient from Bury in the summer of 2012, is thought to have inked a two-and-a-half-year deal at Barnsley
