Barnsley have had an improved offer accepted by Leyton Orient for their highly-rated skipper Stephen Dawson.
Orient turned down a bid for the 26-year-old midfielder earlier this month, but have now agreed a six-figure fee. Dawson, out of contract in the summer and currently sidelined with an ankle injury, is now poised to discuss terms with the Tykes. The Irishman joined the O's from Bury in June 2010 and has made 75 appearances, scoring four goals.
