Kennedy in O'Driscoll's sights

Skysports.com understands Doncaster are lining up a move for Rochdale defender Tom Kennedy. Kennedy, who is the nephew of Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy, has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the lower leagues over the last few years. The 24-year-old has been a key member of the Rochdale side since arriving from Bury in 2007 and he was instrumental in their successful promotion from League Two this season. Doncaster are understood to be in the market for a new left-back and are hoping to lure Kennedy to the Keepmoat Stadium. Kennedy's contract expires this summer and although Rochdale do not want to lose him it seems he could move on for a new challenge.
