Huddersfield have finally completed the signing of Robbie Williams from Barnsley.
The 22-year-old was due to sign for the Terriers earlier in the summer, having spent last season on loan at Blackpool, but Williams suffered a shin injury in training just days before finalising the original deal.
However, Huddersfield boss Andy Ritchie has kept tabs on Williams' fitness and he has pushed through a deal for the full-back.
Williams has signed a three-year deal at the League One hopefuls and Ritchie was delighted to land the highly-rated defender.
"He's a young lad with loads of talent and I'm chuffed to have finally sorted it all out," Ritchie told the club's official website.
"He had a stringent medical over the past couple of days and came through fine, although it will be a few weeks before he is ready to play in the first team."
