NEW Hull City boss Peter Taylor has swelled his ranks further with the permanent capture of Carl Regan.
The defender has been on loan at Boothferry Park from Barnsley since the start of the season, but the departure of Jan Molby cast his future into doubt.
However Regan, who has been an ever present with The Tigers, has impressed Taylor enough to earn a permanent deal.
After overseeing the 22-year-old sign the contract, Taylor said: "I've seen a lot of positives from Carl and I believe he had his best game at Shrewsbury the other night."
In other news, Matt Bloomer will end his loan spell at Telford on Saturday in order to try and force his way into Taylor`s plans.
The 23-year-old was farmed out on loan by Molby, but the Dane`s departure has prompted the defender to return to the club.
He will play for Telford against Woking before returning to the East Coast.
