Nigel Pearson admitted that he understood the fans' frustrations after his side lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Villa Park.
After a goalless first half on Sunday, Leicester succumbed to goals from Leandro Bacuna and Scott Sinclair before record signing Andrej Kramaric scored a consolation in the first minute of injury time.
The 6,000 travelling fans were clearly not impressed, as some chanted 'what a load of rubbish' in the second half.
Pearson said: "People are entitled to their opinions, it doesn't matter what I think.
"We know we have a lot to do this season but what we have to do is find a way of being consistent.
"I never thought it would be easy but we're not making life easy for ourselves.”
Leicester, who are bottom of the Premier League table, five points from safety after losing four of their last six games, can now focus on their push for survival.
And Pearson has called on his players to prove their mental strength during the run-in.
He added: "We need mental resilience, absolutely. With the players' technical ability, they are only able to put it on show if they have the mental qualities to do that.
"It's been suggested that it is easier to prepare against the bigger sides but I do not know. We have found ourselves in losing positions far too often."
