Leicester manager Nigel Pearson does not mind when his side earn promotion to the Premier League as long as they do it after Dean Hammond's header earned the leaders a 2-2 draw at Wigan.
Hammond scored with three minutes remaining to earn the Foxes a point and keep alive their hopes of securing automatic promotion from the Championship this weekend.
If Leicester beat Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night they will be promoted if QPR fail to beat Bournemouth on Saturday.
Even if QPR do keep the Foxes hanging on Pearson's men could secure their top-flight return at home to Brighton on Tuesday but the manager has no preference when the confirmation comes.
"I'm not taking anything for granted. We are still on track if we do it at home we do it at home, if we do it away from home we do it away from home, I'm not bothered as long as we do it," he said.
"It was another good night for us any positive result for us tonight would've put us in a slightly stronger position and that's what we've done.
"You can see why they are on a good run because they played with much better intensity than when we played them at our place and they have good players but I thought we dealt with the set-backs well.
"The most important thing was that we responded and we responded very, very well.
"I've spoken many times about this group having moved on from last year. They come on and we've become a better side because of it, so we've put ourselves in a good position."
Wigan took the lead through Ivan Ramis' powerful header after 37 minutes but the Foxes replied four minutes before the break through Andy King.
Rob Kiernan looked to have won it for the Latics on 62 minutes but Hammond extended Leicester's unbeaten run in the Championship to 20 games.
Wigan manager Uwe Rosler is convinced City will go up but hopes his side can follow them.
"There's no question in my mind that they will go up. I think if we continue like this we will end up in the play-offs," he said.
"That was one of the best games I've seen in the Championship this season, I think two quality teams played each other and both were here to win.
"I felt the intensity and the tempo was very high. I think that was one of our main points before the game could we match their intensity?
"One of the reasons why Leicester are up there is they play a very high pressing game they are an intense, very fit team and we matched that today over 90 minutes.
"I felt at the beginning of the second half we were very good, got the goal and then had chances to put the game to bed and should have scored a third goal."
