Sky Sports understands Wes Morgan is undergoing a medical at Leicester City after agreeing a £1million fee for the defender with Nottingham Forest.
Leicester have been chasing Morgan for the last few weeks as they look to bolster their defensive options before the close of the transfer window.
Forest have already rejected two bids for Morgan this month, but it appears Leicester's third offer of £1million has finally met Forest's asking price.
Morgan is out of contract at the end of the season and Forest have now decided to cash-in on the player rather than risk losing him for nothing in the summer.
The 27-year-old has now been granted permission to hold talks and undergo a medical at Leicester as they look to tie up the move before Tuesday's deadline.
