Sky Sports understands Leicester have made a third bid for Wes Morgan, but Nottingham Forest are holding out for £1million.

But Forest want £1million for centre-back

Sky Sports understands Leicester City have made a third bid for defender Wes Morgan in the region of £800,000, but Nottingham Forest are holding out for £1million. Sources on Thursday revealed the 27-year-old has asked for permission to talk to the Foxes about a move to the King Power Stadium. Leicester have had two bids rejected, as boss Nigel Pearson looks take advantage of the fact Morgan will be out of contract in the summer. Pearson has made the centre-back his top choice as he looks to bolster his defence and it would appear all they need to do is meet Forest's valuation before Tuesday's Deadline Day. Morgan has come through the ranks at Forest and a number of other Championship sides are thought to be monitoring his contract situation.
