Amankwaah and Banton join after impressing for reserves

Burton Albion have completed the double signing of Kevin Amankwaah and Jason Banton ahead of Saturday's game against Bradford City. Amankwaah has joined Burton on a deal until January after being released by Swindon Town, while Banton arrives on a month's loan from Leicester City. Centre-half Amankwaah played for the Brewers' reserves in midweek and is hoping to lend his experience to Paul Peschisolido's squad. "I played a trial game here the other day and the manager was interested in me," Amankwaah told the club's official website. "I like the set-up here, the lads are brilliant. I've got quite a few league games under my belt and played for a few teams in League One and Two, I've got quite a lot of experience in that respect." Teenage winger Banton said: " I was more than happy when the gaffer at Leicester said I could go out on loan and get some experience. "I can play either side, I'm here to do a job so wherever the gaffer wants to play me I'm happy."
