Slovenian striker agrees to have his contract cancelled

Leicester, following a summer of change, have cancelled the contract of striker Leon Crncic. The Slovenian leaves by mutual consent, having accepted that his future lies away from the King Power Stadium. The 21-year-old joined the Foxes on a free transfer in August 2010 but has failed to make an impact in England. He moves on without making a single first-team appearance. A statement released on Leicester's official website read: "He leaves City with our best wishes and as a free agent, allowing him to find a new club outside of the transfer window."
