Fryatt on the verge of joining Championship rivals Hull

Leicester manager Sven Goran Eriksson has rubbished reports of Andy King moving to the Premier League, but Matty Fryatt appears on the verge of joining Hull City. King enhanced his reputation with a blistering strike in Boxing Day's comeback draw against Championship rivals Leeds. And the goal has increased speculation that a number of England's top-flight clubs are considering a January bid for the 22-year-old midfielder. But former England boss Eriksson said in the Daily Star: "I heard rumours about him, but nothing is on the table. I've spoken to him and there's nothing there. "We also want to keep him here." Meanwhile, skysports.com first revealed before Christmas that Hull had agreed a fee for Fryatt and on Boxing Day Tigers boss Nigel Pearson confirmed a deal is close. Eriksson has indicated that the striker does not feature in his plans, as he said in the Daily Mirror: "He is a good player, but I feel I have better options."
