Leicester City have confirmed that midfielder Max Gradel has officially submitted a transfer request.
The 22-year-old is well down Nigel Pearson's pecking order and has spent much of the season on loan with Leeds.
Gradel's loan spell ended following last weekend's defeat at Exeter, however Leeds are keen for him to return to Elland Road.
Skysports.com understands that Leeds have already tabled two bids to ensure Gradel returns to West Yorkshire permanently.
Gradel has now signalled his intent that he wants to depart, although it remains to be seen whether the Foxes accept his request.
