Skysports.com understands Leicester are lining up a move for Vitesse Arnhem defender Sebastien Sansoni.
Sansoni is believed to be considering his future at Vitesse after struggling to hold down a regular place in the side.
The 30-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, is coming to the end of his contract at Vitesse and the news has alerted a number of clubs.
Leicester are weighing a move for the versatile performer as they look to bolster their squad to keep their promotion bid on track.
The League One leaders watched Sansoni in action last weekend against NEC Nijmegen and the player's agent Aleksander Bursac has confirmed Leicester are interested in signing the Frenchman.
"We have been talking to Leicester, but there is nothing concrete at the moment," Bursac told skysports.com.
"He is not playing regularly at the moment and he is considering his future at Vitesse.
"We hope something can be done before the close of the transfer window and Sebastien would definitely be interested in a move to England."
