Leeds United have joined the chase for Northampton winger Bradley Johnson after having a bid accepted for the young winger.
Johnson held talks with Leicester City on Wednesday but returned to Northampton without reaching an agreement with The Foxes.
The Whites have now shown their hand and have had a bid, believed to be in the region of £250,000, accepted by the Sixfields outfit.
Johnson had been included in Town's matchday squad to face Leeds this weekend, although it seems unlikely he will feature at Elland Road.
Should the 20-year-old agree terms with Leeds he would be the club's second signing in January behind Sebastien Sorsa, and, unlikely to be the last.
