Rochdale have signed Leicester youngster Louis Dodds on loan.
Dodds arrives at Spotland on a month's loan and is expected to go straight into the squad for Tuesday's game with Torquay.
The 20-year-old has yet to make his debut in the Leicester first team, but he is highly regarded at The Walkers Stadium.
Dodds had a loan spell at Northwich Victoria earlier this season and Foxes boss Rob Kelly is happy to let him go to Rochdale so that he can gain some valuable experience.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill believes he will prove to be a valuable addition to the squad.
"He's hungry, has a good personality and once we were given the opportunity to see him train with us it was obvious we should look to try and bring him in for longer," Hill told the club's official website.
