Hull City manager Peter Taylor says he has yet to decide on making a bid for Leicester City defender Matthew Heath.

The 23-year-old has caught the interest of the former Foxes manager, with Taylor admitting to discussions with his former club over Heath.

The defender has a year left on his contract at The Walkers Stadium and it remains to be seen if he would be attracted by a move to The Kingston Communications Stadium.

The Tigers are thought to want three new faces in their squad for the forthcoming Championship campaign, but Taylor is thinking over the option of making a move for Heath.

"We have had good discussions with Leicester and both sides will now have to think about making a decision," Taylor told the BBC.

"I am now weighing up the cost and whether signing him would be right for the squad."
