Leicester City have completed the signing of Mohammed Sylla and are closing on his Celtic team-mate Rab Douglas.
Sylla has inked a three-year deal, while it is expected experienced goalkeeper Douglas will do likewise in the not too distant future.
Foxes boss Craig Levein believes Sylla, 28-years-old, will add versatility to his squad - with the player already looking to help his new paymasters to The Premiership.
''I spoke to the manager at length and he made my mind up for me. I like a challenge and I believe Leicester can go up into The Premiership. That's where I want to play,'' Sylla told the club's official website.
"I came down to Leicester for a couple of days at the end of the season to get to know the staff and the players. I liked what I saw.
"I have had four happy years at Celtic but it was time for a new challenge. That's why I am here."
Douglas, who has been informed that he is free to speak to other clubs, is expected to pen a deal in the next few days.
