LEICESTER CITY striker Richard Cresswell could be set for a move across the East Midlands to Nottingham Forest.

Forest have made The Foxes aware of their interest in taking Cresswell on a month's loan, although no deal has been reached just yet.

"We have spoken to Forest, but nothing is cut and dried yet," confirmed Peter Taylor.

The 23-year-old has featured in just thirteen games for City since joining them from Sheffield Wednesday in September 2000 for £750,000.

The Leicester boss then went on to pour scorn on rumours linking Cresswell's strike colleague Trevor Benjamin with a move to Grimsby Town, saying: "There's no truth in that - it's not going to happen.
