QPR have announced that first team coach Kevin Bond will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.

The 58-year-old joined the west London club in November 2012 as part of newly-appointed manager Harry Redknapp’s backroom staff.

Redknapp left QPR in February this year and Chris Ramsey, who took over on an interim basis, was unable to keep the club in the Premier League.

Ramsey has nonetheless been named permanent manager ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign but Bond will not be staying in place.

A statement on the QPR website read: “The club would like to place on the record it’s thanks to Kevin for his services to QPR and wish him well for the future.

“A further announcement regarding Chris Ramsey’s backroom team will be made in due course.”
