Queens Park Rangers head coach Chris Ramsey is targeting three wins from their remaining five games to avoid relegation.
Rangers are two points from safety ahead of Saturday’s match against West Ham at Loftus Road, while relegation rivals Leicester travel to fellow-strugglers Burnley.
But Ramsey believes his side can accumulate enough points from their closing fixtures - trips to Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester and a home game against Newcastle - to preserve their Premier League status.
“They are all key now in the last month,” he said. “We are not really worrying about what the other teams are doing, we know we have just got to get some positive results in the next month.
“I just care if we win to be honest and despite whatever else happens in the mix, we can only take of our own game really, and if we don’t get good results it’s not going to matter what they do.
'Concentration'
“I’m not sure (what is needed to avoid relegation), if you win three games you are obviously going to stay up but I’m not sure. As long as we’re above the line come the end of May, I’ll be happy.
Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea was the seventh time QPR have conceded a goal in the last 10 minutes of a league match this year, a trend Ramsey admitted his side must end.
“It’s a lack of continual concentration,” he said. “If you look at the Premier League as a whole there’s not many teams getting slaughtered.
“Most games are quite even but the quality at the top end of the league is why those sides are there.
“We’ve conceded a lot of late goals this season and we’re not happy about that. We really do need to stop conceding those late goals and keep concentrating right to the end.”
