Harry Redknapp felt his side had been harshly treated as he reflected on the contentious penalty that denied his QPR side a point at Chelsea.
Charlie Austin had cancelled out Oscar's opener for the Blues before Eduardo Vargas was penalised after tussling with Eden Hazard on the edge of the area to present the latter with the match-winning opportunity as it finished 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
QPR remain in the bottom three of the Premier League, but Redknapp took heart from the commitment and endeavour of his players against the title favourites.
"I thought it was a harsh penalty that won it for Chelsea," said Redknapp. "It was a shoulder-to-shoulder charge and our guy was a bit stronger than the Chelsea guy, who went over.
"We played well against Liverpool and we've played well against Chelsea. But to get no points from the two games is obviously disappointing.
"However, there's lots of positives. We showed a great attitude and I think we have got enough to stay in this division."
Austin had equalised with an improvised finish from Leroy Fer's mis-hit shot for his third goal in a week after his brace in the 2-0 defeat of Aston Villa last Monday.
Redknapp said: "It's good for Charlie to be scoring. He's on a good run at the moment, scoring some goals. I was pleased all round.
"I thought Rob Green was excellent, the two centre-halves defended for their lives and I couldn't be more pleased in the way we worked. It's difficult to come here because they have so much talent, so much ability, so much strength.
"I felt we deserved something for how hard we worked. When you work that hard and don't lie down against the best team in the country, for that we deserved a point."
