QPR have signed Jack Robinson from Liverpool and loaned him to Huddersfield for the season.

The England U21 full-back has joined Rangers on a four-year deal but will spend the first of them in the Championship at the John Smith's Stadium.

"Jack is one for the future. He's a good young player," QPR boss Harry Redknapp said. "He'll continue his development at Huddersfield this season in the Championship, where I'm sure he'll do well."

Robinson, who made 11 appearances for Liverpool and has had previous loan spells at Wolves and Blackpool, said: "It was an easy decision for me to come here for a new challenge.

"Hopefully I can do well here and establish myself as a Premier League player in the future.
