QPR right-back Danny Simpson has backed Harry Redknapp's managerial style and is confident his side will start firing in the final third.

The R's have adjusted nicely to life in the Sky Bet Championship and went into the two-week international break sat third in the table.

But they have struggled for goals, finding the net just 17 times in 15 games, the same tally as 22nd-placed Sheffield Wednesday.

Simpson, who moved to Loftus Road from Newcastle in the summer, has helped ensure QPR's lack of goals has not hurt them and he has been part of a defence that has conceded only eight, a league low.

The 26-year-old believes QPR will hit the goal trail soon, with the help of Redknapp.

"He wants to win, he wants to see us play football and he's made that very clear," Simpson told the club's official website.

"We are all trying to do that and as long as we keep listening to him and take on board his philosophy about how the game should be played, I'm sure we're going to click and create a lot more chances.

"I genuinely believe that one of these days we're really going to click and get a good 3-0 or 4-0 win."

QPR return to Championship action on November 23 when they entertain Charlton.
